1. Everywhere you look, bad news. People getting shot, couples getting divorced, continuous suffering. It's about time that some good news get delivered. The Bible Crusade does that.

2. God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours. It's the classic perception VS. reality game. Only with this one, our souls at stake. There's a clear difference between the Word and our thoughts. The Bible Crusade will give you what you need to decide on one. And there can be only one.

3. The Gracias Choir. No, seriously, they're that good. But what's better is the heart from which they praise the Lord, out of thankfulness and simple awe of God's power, grace, and love.

4. You could be suffering in sin. You've tried to remedy it through a myriad of things. No dice. Key word in Bible Crusade is BIBLE. It's what can show you the way to be freed from whatever is binding you.

5. It's free. Absolutely, positively. Just come and experience it.

6. The thing is only twice a year. 2 weeks out of 52. The odds are already against you.

7. It may sound phony, but the fellowship will change your life. When you do come, make sure you chat with a counselor. Any spiritual problems you may be going through, there's a Scripture to alleviate it.

8. We have a concept in our minds of what repentance and faith is, but do we really know? If you have even 1% of unsureness about that, you're due a night or two at the Crusade.

9. You most definitely have friends, loved ones, co-workers, classmates, those around you who need the Gospel. Be a vessel.

10. Pastor Ock Soo Park. His sermons don't just inform, they will move you and let you see that God is alive, Jesus has finished "it", and the Spirit is moving in the midst of all of us.

Revving Up for Our 2010 Bible Crusade

Greetings in the name of Christ!

After a winter hiatus, we're back preparing for Pastor Ock Soo Park's visit to New York as he continues his world missions work with a stop at the Hammerstein Ballroom from April 12 to April 16, 2010.

We've had a lot of success with our past events, especially last autumn's. So, we feel commissioned by God to once again, prepare for this year's crusade. There were so many testimonies of salvation, physically and emotionally hurting people who experienced change and peace, and those who weren't sure what to expect, but came away with an enlightened look at the Word of God.

The Bible Crusade with Pastor Ock Soo Park hopes that you make time to attend beginning April 12, at the Hammerstein Ballroom, located in Manhattan Center at the intersection of 34th St. and 8th Ave. in Manhattan. We promise it will be an opportunity to resolve the problems you face with sin, and experience God firsthand in your life. Seriously.

Although the tension is in the air, and everyone involved is probably nervous beyond description, there's so much hope, positive energy, and faith in God that this event will be a success. In fact, it's more than an event. It is preaching this Gospel that so many think they know, and so few actually have a firm grasp on.

It's not about preconceived notions, pride, or experience. It is about seeing the Word of God in a new light for a change. That light is the light of God.

Preparations for Manhattan Center are underway.
We've been establishing our presence with our street teams, who have tirelessly evangelized not just the Crusade, but the Gospel in general, for the past few months.

Yes, you have the ones that bypass a booklet or fellowship, but the response has been generally very positive. It's thrilling to see that so many have borrowed books, engaged in conversation with us, and have attended the Manhattan Church to listen to the Word.

The Ad Campaign for the Bible Crusade

Everyone has preconceived notions about God, faith, salvation, and what it means to live a spiritual life. But have we ever weighed our thoughts against the Word? Many times, they are the exact opposite.

So the question is, "Who's the middle man in all this? Who is brokering our relationship with God, and from what point did our thoughts begin to become OUR version of what the Word of God really says?"

Satan is the great deceiver. It's always been true, but have we, as people, realized this? We are deceived into thinking that what we presume to be right is actually right. It's time we stop allowing our thinking, our standards, and our experiences to get in the way of the perfect Word of God and eternal sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

This campaign combats the fixed conceptions and notions that we have about God and gives us a point of reference in the Word. We're hoping to strike a chord and make people pay attention, but the greater hope is that people deny their thoughts in favor of God's real promises and give the Bible Crusade a chance. Gauranteed that you will find the answers you've been looking for.

Preparation for the Crusade

Greetings, everyone!

On behalf of the Good News New York Church, welcome to the official weblog for the Bible Crusade with Pastor Ock Soo Park featuring the Gracias Choir.

In light of the upcoming events in late September, we've been preparing accordingly. Although there have been many challenges along the way, we have hope in God that the works of salvation will come to fruition for this Fall's crusade.

With the Word of God from Pastor Ock Soo Park, along with the beautiful, heart-moving praises of the Gracias Choir, it will most definitely be a time where the ones thirsting for rest and peace in their hearts will be satisified through the Gospel.

Keep an eye out for our subway advertising, our trucks scaling the streets of Manhattan, and our precious volunteers passing out tracts and flyers for the Bible Crusade.

We hope you can make it to the 2009 Bible Crusade, and we have faith in God that it won't just be successful, but a true opportunity to experience the power of the Gospel.
